Our 2024 California Speed Puzzling Championship will be held on Saturday, November 16th, in the Bayview Dining Room, College of San Mateo. The address is 1700 W. Hillsdale Blvd., San Mateo, CA 94402.
Please check in for the Wooden Puzzle contest at 5:45 pm. Instructions will be given by 6, and the contest will start immediately afterward.
We will be using a Jumbo-sized Boardwalk premium wooden puzzle for this contest. Retailing at $139.95, these puzzles have wonderful whimsies, brilliant colors, and much larger pieces than typical premium wooden puzzles. See https://boardwalkpuzzles.com/collections/jumbo-size for more details.
Like the other events, each team will keep the puzzles used in the contest.
You will have 60-75 minutes to finish the puzzle. If you do not finish the puzzle, you will be given credit for any groups of 3+ connected pieces. Rankings will be established first by completion time, and then by the number of pieces placed.
