Prize Pantry--Updated for 2026

State Championships: prizes (usually puzzles and/or gift vouchers) will be awarded on site  and will vary based on sponsorships
Zoom Contest Winners:
For each Speed Puzzling contest held over Zoom, we provide prizes to:
  • The top 3 winners of each division with 25+ entries
  • Or the top 2 winners for each division with 13-24 entries
  • Or the top 1 winner for each division with 5-12 entries
  • Prizes are paid out as credits toward future contests/Groupie memberships.
  • 1 Credit = 1 free future Zoom contest
Solo Contest Prize Payout for contests with at least 100 entries--Belts and Divisions with fewer entries will have fewer prizes (as explained above):
  • Top 3 overall: 1.4 credits for 1st, 1.2 credits for 2nd, 1.0 credits for 3rd
  • Top 3 PER Belt Color (Gold, Silver, Black, Purple, Blue, Green, Teal, Yellow, Orange, Red): 1.2 credits for 1st, 1.1 credits for 2nd, 1.0 credits for 3rd
  • Top 3 Unbelted (Future All Stars): 1.2 credits for 1st, 1.1 credits for 2nd, 1.0 credits for 3rd
  • Top 3 Senior Division (300p only): 1.2 credits for 1st, 1.1 credits for 2nd, 1.0 credits for 3rd
  • Top 3 Junior Division (300p only): 1.2 credits for 1st, 1.1 credits for 2nd, 1.0 credits for 3rd
  • Those placing in 2+ categories will receive the highest-value single reward, if applicable.
Pair/Team Contest Prize Payout for contests with at least 25 entries:
  • Top 3 overall Team: 1.4 credits for 1st, 1.2 credits for 2nd, 1.0 credits for 3rd
  • Top 3 overall Pair: 1.4 credits for 1st, 1.2 credits for 2nd, 1.0 credits for 3rd​
Trophies:
  • Same limitations listed above (based on # of entries)
  • Top 3 Solo overall will receive a free personalized laser-etched trophy shaped like a puzzle-piece
  • First place Solo per division (Belts & Junior/Senior) will receive a free trophy
  • 2nd & 3rd place Solo per division may purchase a trophy for $5 or 0.2 credits
  • First place Pair (each partner) and First place Team (each teammate) will receive a free trophy
  • 2nd & 3rd place Pair and Team may purchase each trophy for $5 or 0.2 credits​
***The maximum prize credits awarded to each person (per calendar year) will be limited to 1/2 the number of Zoom contests purchased by that person during the same year.
